Technical Seminars and Training

Avian Group USA offers seminars to educate scientists and engineers on a variety of topics in optical technology. The seminars include annotated presentation booklets that designed to assure the message will not be lost once the seminar is concluded. Seminars include:

  • Standards- Choice, Handling, and Usage
  • Diffuse Reflectance Coatings and Materials
  • An Introduction to the Measurement of Color and Appearance
  • Techniques for the Spectrophotometric Measurement of Reflectance
  • Integrating Sphere Applications and Theory- Sources and Collection
  • Techniques in Radiometric and Photometric Measurements
  • An Introduction to Chemometrics in NIR Spectroscopy
Avian Group seminars are between 2 and 4 hours in length and include technical literature and instruction booklets. Typically, a seminar is most effective to groups of 25 or less, although larger groups can be accommodated.
